"The beauty you portray"

Silent space filled with resonance
I reach for your hand, "Would you like to dance?"
I've been watching you from across the empty room
Try to see you through the gloom
People dancing, I don't perceive
You stole my heart, you gentle thief
The beauty you portray
Leaves me with speechless, no words to say
You wear your soul there in your smile
Perhaps I'll induce you to sway with me for a while
Sphere-like echoes the sound of waltz and swing
I raise my voice like a tenor I will sing
The beauty you portray
Leaves me with speechless, no words to say
Your hand so small so tender
Your eyes look into my soul, I do surrender
Your aura surrounds my mind
A fly within your web unwind
Such beauty you portray
Leaves me with speechless, no words to say
You contact my skin without a touch
The dimmed lights emphasize your smile so much
You wear your heart within your smile
All I can do is gaze at you and sigh
Such beauty you portray
Leaves me with speechless, no words to say
Can't move my eyes to look away
Can't open my lips to say
The sound ebbs away, silence fills this empty chamber
We dance on, forever, I will remember
Your beauty shines so bright and gay
You leave me with speechless, no words to say
The dance, your smile, your love, all is so divine
Take my soul away, …you are My Valentine
